The Illinois Wesleyan Titans fell 9-8 to the Spalding Golden Eagles in an NCAA Division III baseball contest held Sunday, March 15, at 11 a.m. Former Lincoln Way North High School standout Matt Hudik is a member of the Titans’ roster.
The teams played at Derby City Field for their third meeting this season. The Titans also faced the Golden Eagles the previous day, a matchup they lost 15-2.
Hudik contributed with one hit in four at-bats, scored a run, and tallied one RBI.
Illinois Wesleyan will return to action Tuesday, March 17, at 6 p.m. when they host Rose-Hulman Fightin’ Engineers at Art Nehf Field.
