On Saturday, March 7, former Lincoln-Way Central High School standout Nick Tingley’s college squad, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, earned a 73-60 victory over the John Carroll Blue Streaks during the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The contest was held at Shirk Center, beginning at 6:40 p.m., and marked the Titans’ initial meeting with the John Carroll Blue Streaks in this year’s tournament.
Illinois Wesleyan is slated to play its next tournament game Friday, March 13, at 6:30 p.m., again hosted at Shirk Center.
