The Illinois Fighting Illini, featuring former Lincoln-Way West High School star Cole Crafton, earned a 21-8 win over the Western Illinois Leathernecks in NCAA Division I baseball action on Tuesday, March 10.

The contest, their initial meeting with the Leathernecks this season, was held at Illinois Field.

Next up, the Fighting Illini are slated to play at Illinois Field on Friday, March 13 at 6 p.m. against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
