The Illinois high school boys volleyball season is set to begin on March 9, 2026. Teams across the state will officially start their preparations for the upcoming spring campaign on this date.
Regular-season matches can commence starting March 23, 2026. Schools and coaches are required to submit their online season summary forms by May 6, 2026. The deadline for finalizing team seeding for the State Series is May 7, 2026.
The postseason begins with regional preliminaries scheduled for May 22–23, which will be hosted by the higher-seeded teams. Regional semifinals will take place on May 26, followed by regional finals on May 28. Sectional semifinals are slated for May 30, and sectional finals will occur on June 2.
The culmination of the season will be the State Finals, held at Bolingbrook High School from June 5–6, 2026.
