On March 13, Harrison Dubois, a former standout from Lincoln-Way Central High School, played with the Western Illinois Leathernecks as they were narrowly defeated 7-6 by the Illinois State Redbirds in their NCAA Division I baseball game.

Alfred D. Boyer Stadium served as the site for this contest. The faceoff marked the first time this season these two teams met.

The Leathernecks are set to take on the Illinois State Redbirds again, with their next game scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at 3 p.m. at Duffy Bass Field.
