On Tuesday, March 10, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, featuring former Lincoln-Way Central High School standout Harrison Dubois, fell to the Illinois Fighting Illini 21-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball contest.
Illinois Field was the site of the first meeting between the Leathernecks and the Fighting Illini this season.
The Leathernecks are scheduled to play next on Friday, March 13 at 2 p.m. at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium, where they’ll face the Illinois State Redbirds.
