Gerald A. Baudino Sr., 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 28, 2025. Originally from Joliet, Illinois, he began his career as a welder at Baudino and Sons Welding, where he worked alongside his father. A member of Iron Workers Local #444 for 25 years, Gerald enjoyed fishing trips to Canada and Minnesota, as well as local outings to the Kankakee River for catfish. He loved traveling with his wife and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Veronica Baudino, siblings Lawrence Jr., Paul “Bud”, Robert, Joseph (Bernice), Jack (Ann), and Loraine (Raymond); and mother-in-law Mary K. Pahl. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Kay Baudino, their son Gerald A. Baudino Jr., and sisters-in-law Dolores and Norma Baudino, along with several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Nativity Church in Joliet, with all services concluding at the church.
