Fairmont School District 89 is inviting families and community members to attend a gathering focused on breast cancer awareness. The event will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Central Square Gazebo at City Hall, located at 222 East 9th Street in Lockport, Illinois.

The gathering will feature local experts, community advocates, and breast cancer survivors. Organizers say the event is being held in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
