On Sunday, March 1, Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs, featuring former Lincoln-Way Central High School standout Ethan Rossow, edged out the Appalachian State Mountaineers 8-7 in NCAA Division I baseball action.
The contest was held at John Henry Moss Stadium and marked the third meeting between the two teams this season.
The Runnin’ Bulldogs will return to John Henry Moss Stadium for their next game at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 13, where they face the Longwood Lancers.
