Dorothy J. Canan, affectionately known as “Maga”, passed away at the age of 75. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Robert P. Canan Jr., former spouse Robert P. Canan Sr., and siblings Virginia LoConte and Rita Schrage. She is survived by her children Robyn, Kenneth, and Richard, grandchildren Brooke and Brett, great-grandson Tripp, sister Diane Arroyo, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at O’NEIL FUNERAL HOME in Lockport. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Dennis Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
