At a recent Crete Park District Board Meeting, three retiring commissioners were recognized for their service to the community. President Laura Stawicki, Vice President Mike Smith, and Treasurer Carrie Sharma were honored for their leadership and contributions.

Crete Park District Executive Director Andy Biesterfeld praised the commissioners, emphasizing their years of dedication to park development, financial oversight, and community programming.

The retiring commissioners were acknowledged for expanding recreational facilities, supporting community events, improving financial transparency, and maintaining services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
