The Village of Crete announced on Mar. 17 that the Annual Animal Vaccination Day will take place on Saturday, May 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Crete Emergency Management Facility located at 280 W. Exchange Street in Crete, Illinois.

The event is organized in partnership with VCA Forest South Animal Hospital and offers several services for pet owners. Available vaccinations include rabies, distemper, bordetella, flu, and Lyme vaccines. In addition to vaccinations, attendees can obtain village animal tags and microchips for their pets as well as village vehicle stickers.

This year’s event will be held as a drive-thru to ensure convenience and safety for participants. Pet owners are asked to remain in their vehicles with their pets during the process.

Payment options accepted at the event include cash, check, credit, or debit cards.

The Annual Animal Vaccination Day provides an opportunity for local residents to keep their pets up-to-date on important vaccinations while also taking care of other municipal requirements.
