The City of Crest Hill Veterans/Police Memorial Committee has announced its annual Memorial Day Observance. The event is scheduled for Monday, May 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. and will take place at the Crest Hill Veterans/Police Memorial Garden located at 20600 City Center Boulevard in Crest Hill.

This year marks the 37th anniversary of the Veterans Memorial Garden and the 30th anniversary of the Police Memorial Garden. Mr. Tony Arellano, a US Navy veteran from the Vietnam War, will be the guest speaker. The ceremony will also honor two Crest Hill WWII veterans: Mr. Chester Bozek and Mr. Richard W. Pemble.

The Frankfort Brass Band will provide music for the occasion, with a pre-program concert beginning at 1:40 p.m. The program is expected to last approximately one hour, and chairs will be available for attendees. Light refreshments will follow the event.
