The August City-Wide garage sale is scheduled to take place from Thursday to Sunday, August 14th through 17th. Maps and lists for the event will be accessible online or at the City Clerk’s office starting August 13th. Participants can join by downloading an application online or visiting the Clerk’s office.
The participation fee is $5.00, payable via cash, check, or money order.
According to Ordinance 1872, temporary garage sale signs advertising this bi-annual city-wide event are exempt from placement restrictions outlined in Resolutions 410 and 558. This includes placements on city property, utility poles, parkways, and private property. All signs must be removed by the Monday following the event’s conclusion on Sunday. Signs that remain will be subject to immediate removal and disposal by the city.
