At 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, the Concordia Chicago Cougars, featuring former Joliet West High School standout Josh Prosise, were defeated 14-9 by the Hardin-Simmons Cowboys in an NCAA Division III baseball contest.

Hunter Field served as the site for this matchup, their third meeting against the Cowboys this season. The Cougars emerged victorious in their prior faceoff on Friday, March 13, with a 13-9 win.

Prosise pitched two innings, surrendering two earned runs with two walks and one strikeout.

The Cougars are set to take the field again on Thursday, March 19, at 5 p.m., facing Wheaton Thunder at Lee Pfund Stadium.
