CA-1. Professional Services Contract with V3 and Lago Vista HOA to Fund the Costs to Repair Storm Water Ponds in an Amount Not-to-Exceed $150,000
City Administrator, Ben Benson, presented the Staff report.
DIRECTION: Add to the Consent Agenda for the August 21, 2024 City Council Meeting Public Comments:
1. Rich Molenhouse – 16825 Ennerdale Avenue, Lago Vista – member of the Board of Directors of Lago Vista. Shared details about the issues with the condition of the ponds within the Lago Vista development. Thanks to the City for their support to help the Lago Vista community to work thru the pond issues.
CA-2. 4-Year License Agreement with Legacy Events, LLC for Use of the Chevron Site as a Temporary Parking Lot for Haunted House Operations
City Administrator, Ben Benson, presented the Staff report. The proper fix for Canal Road would cost $700,000. The City will be working with the State to get some possible grants. The option to use the Chevron site and collect parking revenue will help offset some of the costs. Based on statistics, the operation of Hells Gate in October provides a benefit of $2.5 million to downtown businesses.

PW-1. Proposal from Civiltech Engineering, Inc. in the Amount of $60,302.40 for Design Engineering Services for Roadway Improvements to 3rd Street (State St. West to End) and 6th Street (State St. West to End) and Pavement Cores for the 2025 Resurfacing Project. in an Amount Not-to-Exceed $60,302.40
