A Boating Safety Class will be held at the Bettenhausen Recreation Center on April 25 and 26, according to an announcement on April 3. The course is led by Master Boating Safety Instructor Bill Brady and is open to both experienced boaters and those new to boating.
The event aims to promote safe boating practices in the community. Organizers say the class is suitable for participants of all skill levels, offering important information for anyone who spends time on the water.
The Saturday session will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., while Sunday’s session will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Both sessions are set at the Bettenhausen Recreation Center, located at 8125 W. 171st St.
“Whether you’ve been boating your entire life or you’re just getting started, join Master Boating Safety Instructor Bill Brady for a Boating Safety Class,” organizers said in their statement.
More details about what participants can expect from the class are available through an informational video linked with the announcement.
