WILMINGTON, June 22, 2025 – Beverly Jean Kleckner, age 67, passed away at her home in Wilmington, Illinois, surrounded by her family. Born on May 25, 1958, Beverly was the cherished daughter of Kenneth and Carol Goody.
Raised in New Lenox, Beverly graduated from Lincoln Way Central High School in 1976. After marrying Hugh in 1981, she devoted herself to raising her children before returning to work as a lunch lady at Wilmington High School.
Beverly’s interests included canning, gardening, ceramics, and spending quality time by the pool. Known for her love of cooking and baking with her children, she was remembered as strong-willed, straightforward, and deeply devoted to her family.
Survived by her husband, children, brothers, cousins, nieces, and nephews, Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and son, Kyle Kleckner.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Baskerville Funeral Home in Wilmington on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Cremation rites will follow, with a private burial to be scheduled at a later date.
