On Sunday, April 27, former Lincoln-Way East High School standouts Averi Vander Woude and Maddy Hickey’s current college team, the Loyola Ramblers, won 6-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the George Mason Patriots.
The game took place at George Mason Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Patriots this season.
The Ramblers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 12 p.m. at Loyola Softball Park against George Washington Colonials.
