On March 7, Anthony Vita, a former Lincoln-Way West High School athlete, took the field with the Drury Panthers in an NCAA Division II baseball contest where they were defeated 8-4 by the Augustana Vikings.
The matchup was held at Mark Worley Field at Meador Park and marked the second occasion these two teams met this season.
The Panthers are set to play again at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at Mark Worley Field at Meador Park, facing the Augustana Vikings.
