Mark Carroll For Congress has issued the following press release:
North Aurora, IL, June 21st, 2022 – Reading the room is seeming lost on the incumbent Democrat. Instead of making a true difference with a program that could use the support, Foster has made a request for funds to build his own reputation. 4 K.I D.S Sake is an IRS recognized 501(c)3 Charity based in Bolingbrook Illinois.
Their work includes but is not limited to: support of area food pantries, advocating for the continuation and support of the National Bone Marrow Registry and continuation of matching donors with recipients, and support of infant and toddler nutritional needs. They provide educational richness and financial resourcefulness, and happiness to those in need.
“In 2012, IL-11 was given a miracle of an organization when 4 K.I.D.S. Sake was officially launched,” said Carroll. “I know from talking with the Bolingbrook residents that this organization is a difference maker! They take action to make sure no child falls through the cracks.”
The 4 K.I.D.S. Sake website says, “We try to focus on the little things that seem to make the biggest difference in a child's life whether it be something as small as food and nutrition, holiday gifts, school supplies, physicals and fees; creating programs for special needs children as well as mentoring and empowering children to take the lead in the community in getting involved with helping others; through support for the children that are fighting life threatening illnesses. We have done all of these and continue to impact the lives of all these children as well as the community through direct support, advocacy, community involvement, partnerships with other agencies and corporations.”
Carroll continues, “The important part to understand is that if a candidate like me can find this out from visiting and speaking with the community, how is it that a Democrat who has been in office for well over a decade does not think that a neighborhood staple like 4 K.I.D.S. Sake with firm roots in the ground deserves $3,000,000? Instead, for fiscal year 2023 Foster has recommended this sum to make serve his own tone-deaf agenda, constructing a new building approximately five minutes away! Do we not have national shortages of things 4 K.I.D.S. Sake already provides?”
