City of Joliet Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Thursday, June 20.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

3.APPROVAL OF MINUTES: APPROVAL May 16, 2019 ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS MINUTES.

4.CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS: This section is for anyone wanting to speak regarding items listed on the agenda, except for items listed under Public Hearing. Anyone speaking on an agenda item is entitled to speak for a maximum of 4 minutes. It is not a question and answer period and staff and the Zoning Board of Appeals do not generally respond to public comments. Please note speakers who engage in conduct injurious to the harmony of the Zoning Board of Appeals shall be called to order by the Presiding Officer and may forfeit the opportunity to speak.

5.OLD BUSINESS: PUBLIC HEARING

a.PETITION 2019-04: A Special Use Permit to allow continuation of a truck repair facility, located at 259 Republic Avenue.

b.PETITION 2019-17: Amend the existing Special Use Permit to allow outdoor storage units as part of the existing mini storage facility, located at 305 S. Larkin Avenue.

c.PETITION 2019-23: Grant of an extension for Special Use Permit # 2018-65: To allow the new construction and operation of truck hauling facility in an I-2 (general industrial) zoning district, located at 3200 Channahon Road.

7.NEW BUSINESS: PUBLIC HEARING

a.PETITION 2019-20: A Variation on a series of wall signs for future Panda Express Restaurant, located at 1451 Illinois Route 59.

b.PETITION 2019-21: Amend Variation of Use (Ord. # 16345) to allow relocation of previously approved grocery store to middle tenant space, located at 625 N. Hickory Street.

c.PETITION 2019-22: A Special Use Permit to allow a multi-family residential, Planned Unit Development in a B-3 (General Business) zoning district, located at the Northwest corner of Kellogg Street and Grape Street.
