Residents of Will County are being urged to attend the Will County Republican Central Committee on Nov. 16 to talk with elected officials, learn about upcoming elections and consider volunteer opportunities, the group said in a press release.
The 7 p.m. meeting at Gatto’s Restaurant in New Lenox will begin with a meet and greet featuring Republican precinct committeemen, followed by the full meeting with guest speakers.
The committee is also asking for volunteers to work in a variety of positions, including block captain, event coordinator, social media expert, editorial writer and poll watcher.
Meetings are held the third Thursday of every month.
