The Plainfield Central High School football programs are staying in full pads this summer, as multiple camps take the turf.
Four separate camps will be held, with opportunities for players of all ages, starting in third grade all the way through high school. Two sets will be youth football, one for third through fifth graders and the other for sixth through eighth graders. Both include a combine and 7-on-7 tournament, and the sign-up fees are $30 each.
The younger group will meet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. July 10 and 11. The older group camp is from 9:30 to 11 a.m. July 12 and 13.
There are also varsity camps, one for ninth graders, and another for 10th graders. The sign-up fee is $125. The camps will run June 12 through July 28. Ninth graders will meet from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., while the 10th graders will meet from 6:30 to 10 a.m. All camps take place in the football stadium.
