Friends of Chris Ward owes $16,050 in fines

The campaign committee Friends of Chris Ward owes a $4,575 fine imposed on Sept. 2, 2016, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $11,475.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 33 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $227,164 in pending fines.
