Naperville Township residents should mark their calendars for Republican township clerk candidate Barry Greenberg’s upcoming fundraising event, 5:30-7 p.m. on Feb. 21 at Topgolf, located at 3211 Odyssey Court in Naperville.

"Please join Barry Greenberg for his only fundraiser on Feb. 21 at Topgolf as he runs for re-election to the office of Naperville Township clerk in the Feb. 28, 2017 Primary Election,” the candidate stated via his Facebook page.

Golf will be featured as an added bonus to the usual beverages and light buffet offerings. Topgolf is situated just off Ferry Road and N. IL-59, northwest of Naperville near Route 88.

The candidate asked supporters to RSVP by calling 630-290-9292 or by emailing barrygreenberg55@gmail.com. Greenberg, running as incumbent, stressed that Tuesday’s event will be the sole public opportunity for constituents to meet, greet, network and assist in his re-election efforts.

Over the course of his current term, Greenberg achieved higher numbers of voter registration among senior citizens; streamlined township record keeping; attended ongoing educational events; and worked with state and county governments.

Greenberg, who is an award-winning practicing attorney, has garnered numerous endorsements from public officials during his current campaign, according to the event invitation. He maintains active involvement with community, civic, business and philanthropic organizations.
