In order to work cooperatively with several state-level Republican organizations and alongside the Illinois Congressional Committee, a Campaign Support Committee was recently established with three leaders including Montgomery Trustee Stan Bonds.
Representing a portion of Will County, Bonds was recently appointed to the position by Illinois Republican Chairman Tim Schneider.
The committee is formulated to work in tandem with the House Republican Organization, Senate Republican Organization, the State Republican Central Committee and the Illinois Congressional Committee by synchronizing campaign strategies and resources.
Additionally, the Illinois GOP recently organized an endeavor to take a survey of statewide Republican leaders, precinct committeemen and conservative grassroots leaders. Questions centered on how the Republican Party can make improvements in the way it facilitates the GOP’s mission throughout Illinois, and the answers have been collated into a PowerPoint presentation accessible online.
Constituents can view the survey results online.
Will County also recently announced that its election department has an extended need for Republican election judges in the townships of Custer, Wesley, Reed, Florence and Wilmington. Election judges are compensated for their time, as well as for training.
